Farley Avenue is an affordable Australian unisex clothing brand that interprets fashion trends while putting an emphasis on modern, wearable pieces that you will want to wear for more than the current season.

The brand fills a gap in the market by offering it's customers localised on-trend product without feeling like fast fashion or breaking the bank. 

 

ABOUT MONIQUE

With a career spanning 12 years in Advertising and Fashion working for the likes of Publicis Mojo, DDB, Forever New and Country Road, Monique felt she had the skills and the timing was right to quit her coveted Brand Manager role at Mecca Brands and go out on a limb to self fund and build the fashion label she’d always planned to have.

Monique was consistently asked if her outfit was ‘designer’, but in reality it likely came from an op-shop, Target or Supre. Fashion was important but buying expensive clothing just wasn’t a priority, having fun was. And so the same philosophy is infused into Farley Avenue. She wants you to not feel guilty when purchasing an item – have your dress and eat your smashed avo on toast too! 

Believing there is a gap in the market for modern, on-trend pieces, that are easy to incorporate into your wardrobe she challenges you to name an Australian brand that won’t charge a fortune for them or alternatively provide you a piece that only a size 6 version of yourself would look confident in. 

Creating the brand solo definitely has its #girlboss challenges but ultimately Monique is persevering to build a high street brand that lasts the distance. Based in Melbourne, shop online or look out for pop up stores with future plans for wholesale and a bricks and mortar presence.
